Tanya + John, you’re getting married with your closest friends and family and considering Palafox Wharf for your Wedding venue in early 2024.  Dates currently available on the Venue's calendar for the time frame you wanted are February 24th, March 23rd, 30th, and April 6th, 20th. We chatted when you toured the Venue today about your Wedding Day.  

Your Wedding Day is our priority.  To summarize, you would love to have your Ceremony at your Venue.  For your Wedding Reception, you are looking for a strolling reception with probably a DJ.  Palafox Wharf that gives you and your guests the "Pensacola" experience.  You expect that there will be about 100-150 guests attending.  You want a stress free, relaxing atmosphere in a great location in which you can enjoy a nicely flowing, smooth experience for you and your guests, visiting and chatting, and great music with tons of dancing.  

There is a lot that the Venue does for our couples, we can help you with vendor selections for any area needed for your event.  With the setup and breakdown of the Venue's furniture inside the Venue and on the waterfront Deck being handled by the venue it automatically is less stressful and work than having to DIY that part of your Wedding Day.

Tanya and John, there are so many moving parts to Wedding Day.  This is why it is so important to have a process in place from the very beginning to secure the necessary vendors and to know what and when to do tasks so they can be accomplished.  When vendors work together month after month as a team, it is a much smoother and more flowing Wedding Day. With 15 years experience, we have accomplished this over and over in the past with 100s of Events and Weddings.

You want your guests visiting, enjoying a tasty food cuisine, chatting with family enjoying each other and creating lifelong memories of your special weekend.  Having huge skylights inside the venue and a great romantic scenic waterfront backdrop for your memorable photography helps as well!

We also offer in-house full planning or month of wedding management.  If you do hire one of our in-house planners, they do a lot for you, your wedding party, and your family.  If selected, our in-house wedding managing and planning always work with you to create a nicely flowing timeline, works the front of the house and back of the house to make sure everything is running smoothly and on time, answering any questions the vendors may have, managing vendor load-in set up, and managing end of the night load-out breakdown, and more so you can enjoy your stress-free Event!

9 Hours which are flexible as to the start time of your Ceremony however consecutive, divided into 1 Hour Rehearsal, 3 Hours set-up, vendor load-in, 4 Hours Event, 1 Hour breakdown, vendor load-out.

More Hours can be purchased for 300 for event Hour and/or 150 for Extra Set-Up time. (Set-Up Hours can not become Event Hours)

Set-up, Event, and Breakdown anytime consecutive between 2:00 pm to 10 pm with event breakdown ending by 11 pm.

"I Love You, By the Hour!" Package for Venue and Deck

650 per Hour - This is the same as the "I Love You" Package but this is the option of a per hour rental.  This is a 4 Hour Minimum.  Set-Up & Breakdown must be included within 4 hour Minimum.  Includes essentials of Planning Portal. 

Example: Set-Up 2 pm-3pm, Event 4:00-7:00 pm, Breakdown 7:00-8:00 pm = 5 Hours x 650 = 3250 plus sales tax

"Love of My Life!" Package

Exactly the same as the "I Love You" Package but adding the Waterfront Lawn for Ceremony and/or Games.  This would also include an Officiant for Ceremony, DJ for Reception, and Decoration Package which includes glass vases with candle for table centerpiece and easel for your Welcome Sign.

The Venue is well-kept and maintained.  Everyone feels comfortable in relaxed luxury.  We care about you and your guests' experience.

The Venue was built in 1880 by a shipping company. Their ships sailed the Bay of Campache in Mexico catching red snapper. We have preserved the original flooring and many aspects of the its character. It does have a modern twist to give it a nice aesthetic balance and warmth.

Palafox Wharf is a beautiful historical building with a rich history and gorgeous scenic outdoor settings on the water. Being named one of Florida's most scenic venues in the State, this Venue provides you and your guests with the "Pensacola experience" on the waterfront where this First City originated generations ago. Views of the stunning sunset will leave you in awe.

From the time you reserve the Venue, to the end of your Wedding Day, we care.  We are available to answer your questions, you are our priority.  We help you create your Wedding Day that is personalized and unique.  We are available by text, email, or phone during regular business hours.  If you have been in a Wedding Party and had to actually set up tables and chairs along with dressing the tables with linens on Wedding Day, you are well aware that is a task you would rather not have to do.  At Palafox Wharf, this is done for you by the Venue's team.  And, at the end of the night, the Venue's teams puts away its furniture.

Palafox Wharf provides more services that most couples desire in the venue cost so you don't have to spend more for the same services. This means as above that Palafox Wharf sets up its venue furniture inside the venue and on the waterfront deck so you (or your loved ones) don't have to. Palafox Wharf breaks down its venue furniture inside the venue and on the waterfront deck so you (or your loved ones) don't have to.

You are paying more for food catering if your food caterer is breaking down your venue's furniture at the end of the night. On Wedding Day, this is the time to celebrate taking in those enchanting precious moments. Both of you along with your families are creating memories, relaxing, and having fun!

Feature 3 | We Care, Venue's Furniture Set-Up Done for You

Location, location, location... An important feature that you always need to consider is what are the hotel and accommodation options for your out-of-town guests and for your wedding rehearsal night and wedding night.  Guests do not want to have to worry about transportation.  And, restaurants and entertainment are within walking distance.  At Palafox Wharf there are 2 hotels close by, one across the street from the venue and another one block away with super easy walking distance.  In addition, there are numerous AirB&B and other hotel options available downtown.  There are numerous eateries and entertainment locations close by.

As an option most couples elect to add to their package Palafox Wharf's in-house event planning or coordination feature.  This will help you make decisions and coordinate even the smallest details of your event.  This also relieves a lot of stress.  With 15 years experience, this is our expertise and will take away a lot of that pressure so you can enjoy a stress-free event (and Mom and your Wedding Party will as well!).  You and your guests are able to sit back, relax, have fun, and dance the night away!

Functional Layout

Palafox Wharf's Dance Floor with romantic string lights is inside the Venue providing the perfect ambiance and illumination for dancing. With other comparable venues, most times with the client's layout, the dance floor would have to be moved outside.  You will enjoy a more functional layout and can accommodate more guests inside and on the waterfront deck at Palafox Wharf.

Palafox Wharf provides as an option our outside green for your ceremony on the waterfront so you have that scenic view you desire so your elderly guests are able to walk better on grass and there is no sand in your Wedding dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. Plus, your guests do not need to travel from your ceremony site to your reception venue.  Plus, from April through August, our couples have been enjoying free fireworks from the Wahoo's on some Saturdays!  As a result, our couples have been enjoying a fireworks show while your photographer clicks away creating spectacular photos of your Wedding Day!
